Bio

Caroline Muchiri is a Research Officer for the CGIAR GENDER Impact Platform. In this role, she supports the Platform’s Science Officer in the generation, analysis and strategic communication of robust and impactful scientific research and evidence in the field of gender and social inclusion in agri-food systems. In past roles, she has supported development research teams in studying gender inequality and entry points for women's empowerment in projects focusing on agricultural value chains in sub-Saharan Africa for 10 years. Caroline has a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nairobi.
