On gender and agriculture: webinar series
This webinar series on issues related to gender and agriculture was developed in collaboration with CGIAR Research Programs and partners. It is designed as a knowledge sharing tool to facilitate exchange among members of the CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research.
The objectives are:
- Promoting knowledge sharing on gender research
- Increasing the visibility of CGIAR gender research

7 September 2018: Women’s land: Beyond access to rights, organized by Ruth Meinzen-Dick, Cheryl Doss, Agnes Quisumbing and Sophie Theis at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).
9 October 2018 (tentative): Gendered Perspectives on Agricultural Innovations Adoption in Egypt, organized by Dina Najjar at the CGIAR Research Program on Wheat (WHEAT) and the International Center for Agriculture Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA).
November 2018: A webinar on intersectionality, by Markus Ihalainen at the CGIAR Research Program on Forests, Trees and Agroforesty (FTA).
December 2018: A webinar on gender in milk trading by Alessandra Galiè at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).
January 2019 (tentative): A webinar by GENNOVATE.
