CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research Newsletter December 2019, issue 12

Welcome to the twelfth issue of the CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research’s quarterly newsletter!

CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research, issue #12 (October-December 2019) – the final issue of the quarterly newsletter by the CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research

This is a special newsletter issue as it also happens to be the very last issue produced by the CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research. From 2020 onwards, the successor to this Platform (the ‘Generating Evidence and New Directions for Equitable Results [GENDER] platform’) will take over the baton from us, under the leadership of the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).

Rhiannon Pyburn, Coordinator of the CGIAR Collaborative Platform for Gender Research, introduces us to the latest and greatest news from CGIAR gender research over the past three months. She takes this opportunity to look back at three years of CGIAR gender research, echoing the recent brochure on this topic.

Nicoline de Haan, Interim Director of the new Gender Platform follows her to introduce the (new) Generating Evidence and New Directions for Equitable Results (GENDER) platform.

The Pulse‘ features Cynthia McDougall, Gender Research Coordinator for the CGIAR Research Program on Fish and Gender Research Leader at the World Fish Center. With this Pulse interview we complete and close off the cycle of Gender Research Coordinator Pulse interviews.

This newsletter also features a selection of the latest peer-reviewed gender publications, CGIAR gender research in action, links to our past webinars, and a list of upcoming events.

Happy reading!
