Circular Economy in African Food Systems
This event brings together leaders, policymakers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to explore youth and women’s roles in transforming Africa’s food systems. It will dive into the success stories from Kenya, Ethiopia, and the Circular Food Systems for Rwanda project. It will highlight the transformative impact of circular agrifood practices in regenerative agriculture, food loss, waste, health diets, productive use of waste, and general resource use efficiency. Participants will also engage in collaborative discussions to identify and address the persistent challenges faced in scaling circular practices across the continent.
