Agathe Diama

Ms Agathe Diama is a Sociologist and Anthropologist by training (University of Bamako, Mali). She holds a specialized MBA in Communication (Technolab ISTA/ESG Paris) and a diploma in journalism (Institut Jesse Louis Jackson).
Ms. Diama has over 18 years’ experience in communication. As relevant here, she is an alumni of the International Center for Journalism, as visiting journalist (ICFJ-Washington DC), Oklahoma State University (Nurturing the fourth estate project), Swedish Media Development Office, Radio Netherlands Training Center (RNTC), Knowledge Management Academy of the International Labour Organization Training center (ILO) and many more. Prior joining ICRISAT and the CGIAR in 2010, Agathe worked with the Voice of America, Africable Television and Radio Kledu as Journalist, with the International Finance Corporation – IFC (World Bank Group) as Communication Specialist and with the Office of the National Auditor in Mali. Agathe is a founding member of the Women in Science and Research (WIRES) of the CGIAR.
