Elizabeth Yegon

Bio

Ms. Elizabeth Yegon is the head of the gender unit at Kenya’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. With a background in gender and agricultural nutrition, she is passionate about food security and nutrition, nutrition-sensitive agriculture and food systems, and gender and the empowerment of youth and women. She holds a bachelor’s in Agriculture and Home Economics from Egerton University.
