Bio

Hajar Kouryani is an agricultural engineering student at the National School of Agriculture in Meknes, Morocco, currently in her fourth year. As a member of the Control Board for the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS), she previously served as Women in Agriculture (WIA) Coordinator, focusing on empowering women in the agricultural sector from students to farmers.

During her tenure, Hajar organized the Global Project Competition (GPC) and the Women in Agriculture and Village Concept Projects (WIA/VCP) Competition, aimed at addressing challenges faced by women. She also amplified women’s voices through IAAS podcasts, sharing their success stories.

 

In celebration of International Women's Day, Hajar and her team hosted a webinar on feminism in agriculture, fostering crucial discussions on gender equity in the field. Her dedication to promoting inclusivity and empowerment continues to make a meaningful impact.
