Isidora Markicevic

Bio

Isidora Markicevic is an international development professional with 18 years of experience in strategy development and design, management, monitoring and evaluation of complex, multi-faceted programs in Africa, Asia and Arab States regions. She has extensive experience in developing evidence-based messages for policy influencing on topics related to youth and women in multiple sectors – notably tenure security and access to land, education and health. Isidora is currently the Head of Programme Portfolio of CGIAR GENDER Impact Platform.

Previously she worked with the World Food Programme Regional Bureau and UN-Habitat Headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, as well as UNFPA and several international NGOs in Rwanda.  She has strong engagement and partnership management experience with bilateral and multilateral organizations, donors, national and local governments, private sector and civil society organizations, in a global network context.
