Nomathemba Mhlanga

Bio

Dr. Nomathemba Mhlanga (Noma) is an Agribusiness Officer at FAO Sub regional Office for Eastern Africa and Programme Manager for FAO’s regional programme on decent employment in agrifood systems in Africa. She has more than 15 years professional experience in value chain and agribusiness development. Noma has been with FAO since 2008, starting in FAO-HQ in Rome, Italy. Noma holds a PhD in Applied Economics and Management, an MSc Degree in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University, USA and a BSc Honours Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Zimbabwe.
