Winfred Masiko

Bio

Winifred Masiko is working with the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development in Uganda as the National Program Coordinator of Uganda Women Entrepreneurship Programme. She is the Uganda focal point on Gender and Climate Change to the UNFCCC, a coordinator of the gender and climate change thematic group of LDC and a member African Group of Negotiators (AGNES) on Climate Change. She chairs the gender and Climate change working group in Uganda. She served as a member of Parliament for 12 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Sector Planning and Management and also in Public Health. She has a rich experience in projects management, negotiations, policy analysis and legislation.
