Dataset for: Protocols and trait dictionary of Chemical and Quality evaluations for potato documented, aligned and available in the Crop-Ontology platform and Global Trial Data Management System (GTDMS)
Abstract
In this report, the potato ontology (http://www.cropontology.org/ontology/CO_330/Potato) is updated to add 34 new variables for quality characteristics, it includes: calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, sulfur, chlorogenic acid, caffeic, tryptophan, phenolics, glycoalkaloid, violaxanthin, antheraxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthine, B-carotene, neoxanthine and total carotenoids concentration.
The same hierarchical structure was used in the Roots & Tubers Base for Standard Evaluation Trials https://research.cip.cgiar.org/gtdms/biomart/ and in the data management tool: HIDAP (Highly Interactive Data Analysis Platform) https://research.cip.cgiar.org/gtdms/hidap/.
