This chapter provides an overview of available malaria vector control tools and a summary of the essential characteristics of the various methods. It then considers how these methods fit within an elimination context and their respective roles at each stage of the process. Finally, the authors consider a few examples of operational issues in implementation and some critical constraints to the effectiveness of vector control
