Abstract

This report presents an overview of research evidence that has been collected through various channels by the EIA programme regarding the relationship between English language skills and economic gain in Bangladesh. The overall findings suggest that there is a positive relationship between English language skills, employment opportunities and an individual's earning power of a magnitude of 20-30% of average earnings in Bangladesh
