Bio

Dennis M. Njung'e works as the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning Manager for GROOTS Kenya, a women-led, women-centered organization working with over 3700 women grassroots organizations.

Njunge’s professional experience spans over 7 years working with private and non-governmental organizations in Kenya with a few part-time tasks in England, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Nigeria. His experiences revolve around general research, organizational strengthening, economic and social assessments, small-holder agriculture, financial sustainability, water and sanitation as well as renewable energy. Njung’e is easily adaptive to learn and support out of his work expertise and works with a highly motivated team to achieve output in time and good quality.

Njung’e is an alumnus of the University of Oxford’s School of Geography and the Environment (SOGE). He holds an MSc in Water Science, Policy, and Management through funding from the Louis Dreyfus-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarship and Leadership Programme. He also has a degree in Environmental Planning and Management from Kenyatta University.
