Devis Mwakanyamale

Bio

Devis Mwakanyamale is a Senior Research Associate and Field Research Coordinator (Gender) with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Development Studies at the University of Dar es Salaam with a focus on gender. He holds a MSc and BSc in Agricultural Economics from Sokoine University of Agriculture. His research interests include social and gender inequality, decision-making, women’s empowerment, seed systems, gender transformative approaches and mixed methods.
