Dr. Seema Jaggi

Bio

Seema is the current Assistant Director General, Agricultural Education Division, at the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). She is a specialist in agricultural statistics, focusing on designs for agricultural experiments, statistical computing and statistical genomics. Seema has over 30 years of diverse research and teaching experience. She has also advised scientists and students about statistical techniques and methodologies to be used in their research. Seema has earned teaching awards, is a Fellow of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), won the Panjabrao Deshmukh Outstanding Woman Scientist Award by ICAR, and served as chair/convenor/Editorial Board Member/Executive Council Member of various scientific committees and universities. Seema is a board member of the Management of Agricultural Universities, CBSE Governing Body, Inter Council Committee UGC, and Extension Council.
