Bio
Elisabetta Gotor is Principal Scientist and Leader of the Performance, Innovation and Strategic Analysis for impact program at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT. She is also co-leading the One CGIAR initiative on Foresight and Metrics to Accelerate Food, Land, and Water Systems Transformation. Gotor’s research focuses on assessing the impact of biodiversity-based intervention on poverty reduction, food security, sustainable rural livelihoods and resilience outcomes. One of her research strand is to analyze the role that biodiversity oriented policies have on food system transformation. She has a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the Department of Agricultural and Food Economics of the University of Reading (2008).
