Bio

Farhana Hussain Ibrahim is a social scientist at the International Potato Center (CIP), based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She provides technical support to admin, human resource, communication, and external relations to CIP Bangladesh. Furthermore, she coordinates operations of projects such as co-lead in training women trainers for promoting nutrition awareness messages, data collection, analysis from gender perspectives, documents success stories and others. Earlier, Farhana worked for GENNOVATE in Bangladesh cases. Her research interest includes nutrition, gender norms, gender sensitivity, physical mobility of women in rural areas, empowering women in agriculture. She has more than 11 years of experience working in development sector. She has dual master’s degree in Development Studies and Business Administration from private university in Dhaka.
