Hanna Ewell

Bio

Hanna is a research specialist at the Alliance Bioversity-CIAT in the Accelerating Impacts of CGIAR Climate Research in Africa (AICCRA) project. She was previously a visiting researcher with the Low-Emissions Food Systems Initiative and in that capacity supported work in the Living Lab 4 People. Before joining CGIAR, Hanna was a monitoring and evaluation advisor and gender focal point within the Fund for International Agricultural Research at the German Development Corporation (GIZ). She is currently also a PhD candidate at Wageningen University and Research (WUR) working on responsible scaling—examining trade-offs and unintended negative impacts of scaling on social groups and the environment.
