Bio

Kata is a researcher in collective organization for resilience at the International Institute for Environment and Development. She holds a PhD on integrated livelihood and sustainability interventions, with a focus on smallholder forest–dependent producers in South-East Africa. With over 15 years professional experience, Kata has conducted policy-oriented research, led project development and delivered capacity-building packages at the intersection of development and conservation in rural contexts of Asia and Africa.
