Bio

Miss Kevina Wangai is a Gender and Organizational Development Advisor at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH

With over 15 years of comprehensive experience in emergency interventions and development cooperation, she has been actively engaged across various projects within the agriculture cluster in GIZ.

Currently, Miss Wangai holds the pivotal role of leading gender mainstreaming efforts in the Agriculture Cluster Projects. Additionally, she serves as a technical advisor on Gender, Governance, and Organizational Development for sustainable marine and coastal resource utilization in the transboundary region spanning Kwale, Kenya, and Tanga, Tanzania. She also fulfills the role of technical advisor for the Agri-Food Systems Project and Women for Resilient Landscapes in Kenya initiatives.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Kenya Methodist University, complemented by a diploma in Community Nutrition from Kenya Medical Training College. She has undergone specialized training on the role of gender in development and is deeply committed to advancing gender equality.
