Bio

Dr Meghna Ranganathan is Associate Professor of Social Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), co-director of the Gender Violence and Health Centre, and deputy co-director of the Centre for Evaluation at LSHTM. Her research is interdisciplinary and uses mixed-methods to answer questions on poverty, gender-based violence, environment and health. She works primarily with collaborators in low-and middle-income countries, and has advised and consulted with multilateral agencies, such as the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Asia Development Bank (ADB) and is a core affiliate of the multi-disciplinary cash transfers and intimate partner violence (IPV) collaborative.
