Bio

Dr Monica Kansiime (PhD) is an agricultural economist and an M&E professional with an extensive background in the agriculture sector. She has led and managed agriculture research and development initiatives in various countries in Africa. She has extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research and an expertise in gender-responsive research. Her research interests are in value chain development, climate change adaptation, impact assessments, community participation and inclusion, regenerative farming systems and seed systems. She is a seasoned process facilitator, including farmer participatory approaches, multi-stakeholder innovation platforms, beneficiary assessment and participatory impact evaluation.

She holds a Phd on Agricultural Economics from Kenyatta University, Kanya, Msc Agricultural Economics, Makerere University and Bsc Agriculture from Makerere University
