Bio

Nishant Gupta is the Social and Environmental Impact Advisor to Walmart.org in India. He has over 16 years of experience spanning across technology, businesses, ecommerce, general management and now the development sector. At Flipkart, he has played a key role in building several businesses that have enabled growth for millions of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises across India. Since 2021, he has been working as a social and economic advisor to Walmart.org to help enable market access to millions of smallholder farmers. In the past year and a half, Nishant has enabled the Walmart Foundation to strengthen their presence in India, with a special focus on women smallholder farmers and climate impact.
