Bio

Rebecca Picard joined the World Food Prize Foundation in September of 2021. In her role as Program Manager II, Internships and Youth Impact, Rebecca works to direct and deliver the World Food Prize Foundation’s signature Wallace-Carver Fellowship and Borlaug-Ruan International Internship. These opportunities are open to WFPF Youth Program alumni and allow for unparalleled professional growth. 

Prior to joining the World Food Prize Foundation, Rebecca managed an international writing fellowship that provides a two-year, immersive experience for young professionals. She has also worked with international education and human development programs in Turkey, Germany, California, Washington D.C., and remotely in Chile and France.

Rebecca holds B.A.s in German and International Studies and a certificate in European Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as an M.A. in International Policy and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
