Vivian Polar

Bio

Vivian, a Bolivian national, has over 20 years of professional experience working with women and indigenous peoples. She currently serves as Leader of the Social and Nutritional Sciences Division at the International Potato Center in Lima, Peru. Vivian holds a PhD in social sciences from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Her research explores the convergence of gender and social inclusion and technological innovations in the context of agricultural research for development.
