Abstract

In field surveys carried out in 1999 collar rot (Aspergillus niger), stem rot (Sclerotium rolfsii (Corticium rolfsii)), bud necrosis disease (groundnut bud necrosis virus), early leaf spot (Cercospora arachidicola) (Mycosphaerella arachidis), late leaf spot (Phaeoisariopsis personata) and rust (Puccinia arachidis) were detected on groundnuts in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, India
