Climate-smart agriculture sourcebook
Abstract
The sourcebook comprises a wide range of knowledge and expertise on the concept of climate-smart agriculture (CSA) to better guide policymakers, program managers, sectoral experts, academics, extension officers and practitioners. It will help them to make the agricultural sectors (crops, livestock, fisheries and forestry) more sustainable and productive, while responding to the challenges of climate change and food security. This second edition expands on the 2013 edition to include five new modules that cover climate change adaptation and mitigation; the role of gender in CSA; integrated production systems, supporting rural producers; and the theory of change for the CSA approach.
