Cu K-edge X ray absorption spectra of raw and treated organic wastes: Spectres d'absorption des RX de déchets organiques bruts et traités au seuil K du cuivre
Abstract
Copper (Cu) is a potentially toxic trace element present in large amounts in organic wastes (OWs) spread on agricultural lands as fertilizer. Cu speciation in OW is a crucial parameter to understand its fate in soil after spreading and to assess the risk associated with agricultural recycling of OW.
Here, we share K-Cu X-ray absorption spectra from raw OWs up to digestates and/or composts for a large series of OWs sampled in full-scale plants.
Data were recorded at the SSRL (Stanford, USA) on the 11−2 beamline and at the Australian synchrotron on the XAS Beamline.
