Abstract

Mainly dry weather likely to prevail over most parts of the India till night of 5th April except Karnataka, Kerala and parts of Maharashtra and northeastern states where isolated rain/thunderstorm is likely. • A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect northwest India during 6th-8th April 2020. Under its influence, scattered to fairy widespread rain/thundershower is likely over Western Himalayan region on 7th & 8th and over Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi on 7th April 2020. Isolated thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, hail & gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) over Western Himalayan Region during 7th & 8th April and over Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi during 6th & 7th April 2020. • Isolated to scattered rainfall/thunderstorm accompanied with lightning likely over east, northeast India and southern peninsula during 7th & 8th April 2020
