EU-World Agroforestry Center Collaboration for Developing Research and Development Capacity in Agroforestry: Key Highlights from 2012-2016
Abstract
ICRAF offers excellent field research locations in about 30 countries globally, over 200 world-class research staff to supervise students, and state-of-the-art research labs at its serene campus at Nairobi for land health analysis, genomics, dendrochronology, geo-spatial analysis and tree physiology. This makes ICRAF an ideal location for research students and academic institutions in European and other developed countries on issues around tree genetic resources, agroforestry systems, land restoration, health assessment and mapping, and environmental services in healthy and productive landscapes in the face of climate change
