Abstract

The Nepal Population-Based Survey (PBS) provides a comprehensive assessment of the current status of agriculture and food security in 20 districts across the western, mid-western and far-western development regions of the country. This dataset reports the Women's Empowerment in Agriculture Index which measures the empowerment, agency, and inclusion of women in the agriculture sector in an effort to identify and address the constraints that limit women’s full engagement in the agriculture sector
