Abstract

Introduced in 2010, climate-smart agriculture (CSA) technologies/approaches are evidently helping agriculture systems in ensuring global food security through mitigating impacts of climate change. CSA approaches are designed to support different stages of farming. Their application varies in terms of resources and labor requirements-implicitly needed different contributions, and have different effects on men and women. The chapter provides examples of gender-inclusive CSA practices. These were conceptually designed and implemented for a set of objectives and user-friendly for either male or female has often have a spillover effect on both the gender.
