Abstract

Dataset on improved lentil varieties (ILVs) adoption and impacts in Bangladesh. It was built through a survey of 1000 households and all their 1694 fields that were cultivated with lentils in the 2014/2015 season. The primary objective of the survey was the determination of the level of adoption of improved lentil varieteis in Bangladesh and to make comparisons of estimates of adoption generated using different methods including expert ellicitation, farmer recall, and DNA fingerprinting. However, the scientific team also took advantage of this large survey to collect data that can be used to assess the field- and household-level impacts of adoption of improved lentil varieties in Bangladesh.
