Abstract

 On 11-13 March 2015 the Eastern and Southern Africa (ESAf ) regional office held its regional planning meeting in Arusha, Tanzania. The meeting convened ESAf regional office staff and internal and external partners who the office works with. In his opening remarks, Dr Jeremias Mowo, the Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Coordinator noted that the region is gradually growing and expanding. For example, ESAf ’s projects have increased over the last two years and the regional office team has grown with the inclusion of five new members of staff in the last one year. According to Dr Mowo, the region aims to exploit new funding opportunities and bring on board more donors and partners
