Abstract

The dataset contains all the data associated to the paper "Variety Development of Wheat in Turkey and the Impact of Regulations". The data were originally stored inside the paper, and they were extracted to share them in more friendly and machine-readable format. The data contains the list of historical wheat varieties released by wheat breeding program in Turkey form 1925 to 2021, comparing them to the wheat varieties released by some selected countries and evaluate the impact of regulations on wheat research and variety development.
