Abstract

This project, in collaboration with the Tanzanian Ministry of Agriculture and food security (MoAFS) has supported the adoption and promotion of a novel biological control of armyworm based upon the use of a natural pathogen of armyworm, the Spodoptera exempta nucleopolyhedrovirus (SpexNPV) as a replacement for chemical pesticides
