Abstract

The study was conducted in a randomly selected sample of persons aged over 15 years living in Ca Mau Province, southern Vietnam. Objective is to estimate the prevalence of latent tuberculous infection (LTBI) in the general adult population of this province of Viet Nam. The secondary objective was to examine age and sex differences in prevalence. This research was supported by the UK Department for International Development’s Operational Research Capacity Building Programme led by the International Union Against TB and Lung Disease (The Union)
