Rangelands management and range condition: A study in the Medacho and Did Hara areas of the effects of rangeland utilization

Abstract

Presents data on the geomorphology, vegetation structure and ecological units identified at Medacho & Did Hara areas of Ethiopia, comparing effects of rangeland utilization in order to derive conclusions on their management by pastoralists, with particular reference to grazing pressures applied to various intensities of grass cover, distribution of the grass biomass and land use practices.
