Abstract

Presentation on the relation between social protection and agriculture, the role this relationship can have have in poverty alleviation and the limits of this strategy's effectiveness. The presentation then gives a general overview of the FAO's \'Protection to Production project\' and its activities in sub-Saharan Africa.
