South Sudan 2013 Survey Report: First round, May 2013

Abstract

A report on the findings of a survey conducted by JSRP researchers in Western Equatoria State, South Sudan. The survey is based on a representative sample of 433 individuals in Ezo County and the two southernmost payams of Tambura County. The survey was designed to provide data for the following lines of enquiry:  the impact of community-driven development programming on trust in government and on willingness to contribute to public goods.  perceptions of security and fear of attack in relation to local radio broadcasts  experiences of violence and the consequent impact on political participation  the ongoing effects of the historical Zande Cotton Scheme
