Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that almost 40% of patients diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB) are not reported. The authors implemented this study to assess TB under-reporting and delayed treatment registration in 9 counties in China. This research was supported by the UK Department for International Development’s Operational Research Capacity Building Programme led by the International Union Against TB and Lung Disease (The Union)
