In food systems, photos tell more than a thousand words. These intricate stories go deeper, from the farm to market and to the tables nourishing millions of households. Every so often, women farmers are misrepresented in visual stories we see. How can we tell better,  gender inclusive stories that tell accurate stories of women, men and youth without entrenching the gender stereotypes we work so hard to break?  As photostory teller, it is important to be aware of inherent biases, risks and pitfalls of reinforcing unhelpful gender stereotypes holding back especially women who play key roles in the food systems.

The CGIAR GENDER Impact Platform invites you to this webinar with Britt Basel, a seasoned photographer bringing stories to life through the lens for publications like National Geographic, Traveller India and The Washington Post. Register and learn how to tell inclusive stories through your photos in the food systems.

To cover the different timezones through the world, we have organized two options to join.
