Arwen Bailey is a knowledge sharing and science communications specialist at The Alliance of Bioversity International and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). Arwen Bailey is a Systems Thinker (MSc Open STiP) with an interest in social learning systems, how new thinking and understanding can influence practices, policies and action to foster transformative change. With a long collaboration and interest in gender equality and gender research, Arwen co-convenes, with other colleagues, a community of practice on gender-transformative research methodologies, the GTRM-CoP, which aims to develop, pilot and share new ways of thinking about and conducting research-for-development on food, land, and water systems, which foster great equality between men and women, and greater wellbeing for both, and for the communities they live in.
