Methods, tools and training materials for researchers, development practitioners and others looking to improve their understanding of gender in food systems are highlighted below.

Methods comprise approaches to systematically investigate gender dimensions in food systems—whether in research or practice—while tools can help collect data, determine indicators or aid decision-making. Training materials and courses support those looking to build their skills or to provide training to other food systems actors.
